Hello!
I’m Dohyoun Lee, a high school junior and CP (Career-related Programme) student with a career study focus in Health Science. I’ve always been curious about how health works, not just biologically, but socially, politically, and globally. That curiosity has grown into a deep passion for global and public health, and it drives many of the choices I make both in and outside of school.
Outside of class, I’m actively involved in science competitions and the Media Youth press corporation, where I report on issues that matter to teens, including mental health, social equity, and scientific innovation. These experiences have helped me build communication and critical thinking skills: two things I believe are essential in the field of public health. I’m also exploring opportunities to gain hands on experience through summer internships and dual enrollment courses at my local community college.
Through this blog, I hope to share parts of my journey, reflect on what I’m learning, and connect with others who are passionate about creating healthier, more equitable futures. Whether you’re a student, a health professional, or just someone curious about the world, thank you for being here. I’m excited to grow and learn together.
